What We Love to Hear About
Wildlife sightings. Seen flamingos, a Cape fox, a snake on the shoreline, or anything unusual on the cam? Tell us the date and time you saw it — if you can, include a screenshot. Viewer reports are the backbone of our blog and our snake sightings log, and we credit contributors whenever we publish a report.
Stream problems. If the cam is offline, frozen, or showing the wrong image, we want to know as soon as possible. The camera sits in a harsh coastal environment — salt, wind, and the occasional curious bird — so outages do happen, and viewer reports usually reach us before our own monitoring does.
Questions about visiting Langebaan. We live here and we're happy to share local knowledge that goes beyond the visitor guide — where to launch a kite as a beginner, which beaches are dog-friendly, when the wildflowers are at their peak, or where to see flamingos up close.
Footage and media requests. Screenshots and clips from the cam are available for personal use, research, and press — get in touch and tell us what you need and how it will be used.

Can I get a recording of something I saw? We keep limited recordings. Send us the date and time and we'll tell you what we have.
Can I embed the cam on my own site? The stream is hosted via SkylineWebcams — contact us and we'll point you to the right licensing route.
Do you accept guest posts or photos? Yes — local wildlife photos and West Coast stories are always welcome for the blog and gallery, with credit to you.
